What is an Application Site?
Can I restrict registration access to only approved attendees?

An appllication site is a way for you to have people first submit an "application" for attendance which you as an administrator review.  You then change their status and notify the individual that they have been approved in which case they can then proceed with the full registration process.  This is different than a standard verification site in that each attendee in essence receives their own unique application ID that is only valid for their individual registration.

You can thus use this approach to restrict registration access to only approved individuals. 

This is a feature that is available only in the 2012 release of EventCORE and is planned for release in the summer of 2012.
